Bharat Sangeet Samrat

Bharat Sangeet Samrat is a nationwide online singing competition created to discover and promote raw singing talent from across India. The competition will begin with state-level online editions and gradually expand into a national-level reality-show platform organised and managed by Whistling Record.

Eligibility Rules

  • The competition is open to Indian citizens only.
  • Participants from all states and cities of India can participate.
  • Participants below 18 years of age must have permission from parents or guardians.
  • Participants must provide correct information during registration.
  • Any fake or misleading information may result in disqualification.

Registration Rules

  • Registrations will be conducted through the official website only.
  • Entry fee must be paid successfully for registration confirmation.
  • Registration fee is non-refundable.
  • Participants must provide valid contact details.
  • One participant can submit only one official entry unless otherwise permitted.

Video Submission Rules

  • Participants must submit original singing performance videos.
  • Lip-sync videos are strictly prohibited.
  • Videos should have clear audio quality.
  • Bollywood, Regional, Original, Classical & Folk music allowed.
  • Vulgar, hateful or inappropriate content is prohibited.
  • Organizers reserve the right to reject low-quality submissions.

Copyright & Usage Rights

  • Participants grant permission to use videos, photos & audio clips.
  • Content may be used for marketing & promotional activities.
  • Usage includes social media, website, YouTube & advertisements.
  • Participants remain responsible for song copyright issues.

Judging Criteria

  • Singing quality & vocal control.
  • Expression, creativity & originality.
  • Confidence & overall performance quality.
  • Audience connection & impact.
  • All judges' decisions will be final.

Code Of Conduct

  • Participants must maintain respectful behavior.
  • Abusive language or misconduct is prohibited.
  • Fake engagement or manipulation is not allowed.
  • Participants must follow all official instructions.
  • Violation may result in immediate disqualification.

Technical Responsibility

  • Organizers are not responsible for internet issues.
  • Upload failures or payment problems are participant responsibility.
  • Device or technical issues will not be considered.
  • Participants should keep backup copies of videos.

Organizer Rights

  • Modify rules or competition structure.
  • Change dates or judging format.
  • Cancel or postpone any stage if necessary.
  • Disqualify participants violating competition rules.

Competition Structure & Rounds

Round 1 — Online Entry Round

Participants submit online registration forms and singing videos. All entries are reviewed by the screening team and selected contestants move forward.

Estimated Selection — Top 300 Contestants

Round 2 — Top 300 Challenge Round

Selected singers receive a new challenge or song theme and must submit fresh performance videos. Judges evaluate improvement, versatility, and vocal performance.

Estimated Selection — Top 50 Contestants

Round 3 — Top 50 Performance Round

Contestants submit upgraded performances with focus on stage presence, creativity, vocal control, and audience appeal.

Estimated Selection — Top 10 Finalists

Grand Finale — Top 10 Finalists

Finalists compete in live performances, interviews, public interaction, and reality-show-style judging to determine the final winner and rankings.
